The City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) has issued a cautionary notice following an earth tremor that was felt in various parts of Johannesburg South, including Roodepoort, Soweto, and the surrounding areas.
At this stage, no injuries or property damage have been reported. EMS officials stated that the Council of Geoscience is still working to confirm the tremor’s magnitude.
Residents are advised to stay alert and exercise caution.
