Renowned nasheed artist Zain Bhikha has collaborated with acclaimed Chechen singer Isa
Esambaev to create a powerful new song honouring the beloved first wife of Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH), Khadijah (RA). One of the most beloved to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH,
the dignified and most esteemed, Khadijah (RA), of whom it is said Angel Jibra’eel (AS) himself
sent salutations, was not only wife to Muhammad (PBUH), but also the first woman to
embrace Islam.
This second song dedicated to the mother of Islam promises to be as iconic as its predecessor,
the iconic, Zamilooni, which Zain released over a decade ago.
The collaboration features Esambaev’s Arabic vocals interwoven with Bhikha’s lyrics and
composition. It tells the story of the profound love between Khadijah (RA) and the chosen final
Prophet of God. In a testament to their bond, “She loved and stood by him when no one was
there. She comforted, covered him, easing his fears” will touch a chord in any listener.
Khadijah’s status has been promised by Allah to have the ranks of the most exalted women in
heaven – Aasia, Fatima, and Maryam, and this song is a fitting dedication to her elevated
standing in the eyes of God.
Isa Esambaev, known for his soulful voice and captivating performances, has gained
recognition for his work on the television program “Tet-a-tet” and his albums “The Moon Rose
to Heaven” and “Ya Ilahi.”
In Khadijah, both Zain and Isa have come together to provide a symphony of voice and
song that is unforgettable. A fitting celebration for Zain Bhikha’s 30th anniversary as one of
the most iconic Islamic artists of our time.
